Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand XPeng, under the management of Erajaya Active Lifestyle (ERAL), has officially opened its largest dealership in Indonesia, located in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. This new facility marks a major milestone in XPeng’s strategy to expand its presence in Southeast Asia’s fast-growing EV market.
Standing on a 3,413-square-meter site, the new XPeng dealership adopts the 3S concept — Sales, Service, and Spare Parts — offering a complete range of services for customers. The dealership is also designed as a flagship center that integrates advanced facilities and premium customer experience, aligning with XPeng’s global standards.
Smart Mobility Meets Premium Experience
CEO of Erajaya Active Lifestyle, Djohan Sutanto, said that the opening of XPeng Pondok Indah represents a significant step in the company’s mission to bring smart, connected mobility solutions to the Indonesian market.
“The inauguration of XPeng’s flagship dealership in Pondok Indah marks an important milestone in our commitment to delivering premium smart mobility experiences to Indonesian consumers,” said Djohan.
The dealership features two ultra-fast charging stations, each capable of delivering up to 200 kWh of power — allowing XPeng vehicles to charge from 10% to 80% in just around 20 minutes. This infrastructure aims to improve convenience and encourage EV adoption among urban drivers.
Beyond sales, XPeng Pondok Indah is equipped with comprehensive after-sales facilities, including Quick Repair, Heavy Repair, Battery Repair, and Wheel Alignment services. All after-sales operations are handled by XPeng Global-certified technicians and supported by genuine spare parts that meet international quality standards.
Djohan emphasized that this end-to-end service model reflects XPeng’s long-term dedication to ensuring reliability, quality, and optimal vehicle performance for its customers across Indonesia.
James Wu, Vice President of XPeng Global, said Indonesia plays a crucial role in the company’s long-term expansion strategy.
“Indonesia is a very strategic market for XPeng. Through close collaboration with Erajaya Active Lifestyle, we are committed to providing the best customer experience — from innovative products to reliable after-sales support,” Wu explained.
XPeng’s current local lineup includes the XPeng X9 and XPeng G6, both of which are locally assembled at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) factory in Purwakarta, West Java, starting in July 2025. This local assembly reinforces XPeng’s commitment to Indonesia’s EV ecosystem and government initiatives promoting domestic production.
According to data from GAIKINDO (Indonesian Automotive Industry Association), XPeng sold 344 electric vehicles in Indonesia between January and September 2025. This number highlights the brand’s steady growth in the competitive EV segment and its potential to become one of the country’s leading smart mobility players.
With its newest flagship dealership and strategic local partnerships, XPeng is signaling a serious commitment to long-term investment, customer service excellence, and sustainable innovation in the Indonesian automotive industry.
